Healing Ministry

The Church's Ministry of Healing in Ireland was founded in 1932 to promote and develope a deeper understanding of the Healing Ministry of our lord and to encourage an acceptance of this ministry as an integral part of the life and witness of the church in every Parish.

Since 1932 the aim has been most commonly expressed in Parishes by the Laying on of Hands with Prayer and by the small group meeting for study and intercession. The Laying on of Hands is offered during specially designed Healing Services. The small group"Healer Prayer Group" in St.Peter's meet every Thursday morning in St.Luke's Chapel in the hall which provides a means for ongoing Prayers for the sick as well as developing the fellowship and spiritual lives of the participants.

The Society is governed by its Executive Committee which is made up of representatives chosen from each Dioceses. Our Patrons are the Archbishop and Bishops of the Church of Ireland.

St.Peter's Church Healing Services

Healer Prayer Group meets every Thursday morning @ 10.30am in St.Lukes Chapel in St.Peter's Hall (Except July and August)

Service of Devine Healing is held on the 4th Sunday of the Month @ 4pm in St.Peter's Church. (Except August and December).
